Base

While we are excited to talk to you about the Base trim’s features, we need to first tell you how powerful the Explorer is! The base engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder that creates 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Another option is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which delivers 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Both engines will come with a smooth ten-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel-drive. All-wheel drive is an option on all trims for those who would like more traction. Now, let’s get to the features of the Base! It is standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a power liftgate, triple-zone automatic climate control, cloth seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. You will also be privy to the exceptional FordPass Connect services, including a remote engine start and Wi-Fi access. On top of all these wonderful features, there are also safety issues to consider! In addition. There are several packages available for the XLT. The first is the Sport Appearance package, which has sporty features such as 20-inch carbonized grey wheels and exterior trim, black side mirror caps, and exclusive interior trim. You can also opt for a technology package with power-folding exterior mirrors, an auto-dimming interior mirror, a wireless smartphone charger, and trailer towing equipment. Is the Ford Explorer ST-Line the Sporty Trim?

If you want a sportier trim, check out the ST-Line, which has several impressive design cues that include 20-inch alloy wheels with a machined-finish surface, dark-tined headlights and taillights, a black grille and exterior trim, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power-folding external mirrors. Limited

All of the features for the XLT trim come standard, and you can also get the Limited trim with heated second-row seats, second-row sunshades, and front parking sensors. You can also get the option of a hybrid engine for the Limited, which has 313 horsepower!

ST
