How Much Power Does the 2024 Mustang Have?

In 2024, the Ford Mustang retains its front-engine, rear-wheel drive setup with exciting tweaks. This means that the turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four for EcoBoost model remains for the lower trims, while the GT gets the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 which is going to be more efficient for the 2024 model year as it adds a dual air intake box and dual-throttle body design, which will make it the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 ever created as it has 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. Two transmissions are available for the Ford Mustang to get a ten-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual with rev-matching. Ecoboost models will air exclusively with the ten-speed automatic, while the GT will offer both transmissions. In addition, there will be a Performace Pack with a limited-slip differential, MagneRide adaptive suspension, wider rear wheels and tires, and larger brakes.
