What engines can I get for the Ford Super Duty?
Several new engine options are available for the Ford Super Duty. The long-standing 6.2-liter V8 has been replaced with the brand-new 6.8-liter gasoline-powered V8, which will pair with a ten-speed automatic transmission and is now the base engine. Another new engine to this impressive repertoire is a spectacular high-end 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 with the best horsepower and torque in the class. These two new engine options join the rest of the lineup, which consists of a 7.3-liter gasoline-powered V8 and a 6.7-liter diesel V8. Both engines have been slightly modified, so you can go far longer between servicing them. The remaining engines also come with a ten-speed automatic transmission, which will give you tremendous fuel economy.
What are the features of the Super Duty?
When you peek inside the cabin of the Ford Super Duty, you will be treated to a complete redesign lifted from the Ford F-150. On the entry-level XL model, you will be treated to a standard 8-inch touchscreen, while higher-level trims provide drivers with a 12-inch touchscreen. In addition, all of the gauges in the instrument cluster have been replaced with the great-looking, fully customizable digital instrument panel, which you can get on higher trim levels. As you move higher up the trim levels, the Super Duty gets very roomy and more comfortable, with the top trim being the Limited. The max-recline seats and a spectacular 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system are new to the lineup, which gives you a crisp and clear sound.
Tech items for the Super Duty
The Super Duty comes with more options and features than ever before, starting with the Pro Power Onboard, which gives you more outlets for your power tools and other accessories in the bed and inside the cabin. Another great addition to the Super Duty lineup is the 5G connectivity, standard on every trim level and the first of its kind in the United States. You can also connect your Wi-Fi to up to ten devices. This excellent system allows drivers and passengers to turn their trucks into mobile workshops. You also have several options for towing, such as onboard payload scales, a 360-degree trailer camera system that provides drivers with a top-down view of the trailer, and a blind-spot warning system. Then there are the advanced safety systems, of which the Super Duty has plenty! These include adaptive cruise control, stop-and-go traffic assist, forward parking sensors, and the FordPass mobile app, which alerts the driver if the driver has been disconnected after the truck has been locked. You will also see a new camera on top of the tailgate that will turn on once the gate has been lowered, ensuring you can always see behind your Super Duty!
